UNIC 2.0, here we go!

With its version 2.0 and a future secured for the next four years, the European University UNIC, of which ULiège is a member, is getting ever closer to the reality of scientists, professors, students and staff members of its institutions, without forgetting a focus on territorial realities and citizens.

UNIC, everyone's business!

While the first version of the UNIC project laid the foundations, defined a vision and already implemented a number of projects, the second phase of the alliance aims to be even more ambitious and concrete. With UNIC 2.0, two partners have officially joined the European University: the University of Malmö (Sweden) and the University of Lodz (Poland). This brings the total to 10 European universities.

Pierre Duysinx, ULiège's Vice-Rector for Mobility and International Affairs, talks about our school's commitment over the next four years:

A new structure

In concrete terms, UNIC 2.0 has a new structure and is subdivided into "work packages", the organization of which was reviewed at the end of the first project. In this new organization, the Université de Liège co-leader Work Package 5 (WP5) with the University of Koç (Istanbul, Turkey). The essence of this new WP5 will be to develop and support communities of researchers and professors around the themes of post-industrial transition. To this end, thematic lines have been defined around which members of the faculties of partner universities can meet, exchange and work.
