Inter-university meeting: exchanging and sharing experiences

As a member of a European University (UNIC), ULiège has an influence on its various partners, but the framework can easily be extended as meetings and opportunities arise.

On Tuesday 19 December, a delegation from Limoges came to ULiège as part of an inter-university visit. On this occasion, members of the UNIC team and members of RISE were able to talk to members of the University of Limoges and Limoges Métropole. The UNIC team was able to present the origins and workings of the European University, as well as its current and future projects. In fact, CityLabs reminded the people of Limoges of the hackathons they had organised for the City of Limoges using the same dynamic!

The overview of RISE's various fields of action, including a presentation of the spin-offs supported by the University, also provided an opportunity for lively discussions on the themes of innovation and creativity. The sharing of practical experience and the opportunity to make new contacts are clearly invaluable in this field. The meeting ended with a tour of the Grand Poste and its many spaces designed to accommodate all types of (new) businesses.
