The Education Awards 2025 ceremony was held in Ireland on May 8th. The UNIC joint Master's programme, RePIC, was awarded the "Best Masters - Science, Technology, and Built Environment" prize.

Our very first joint Master's programme, supported by 8 of the 10 universities in the European UNIC alliance, RePIC (short for "Re-designing the Post-industrial City"), received an award highlighting both its originality and the quality of the education provided. By receiving the "Best Masters - Science, Technology, and Built Environment" prize, our colleagues at University College Cork were recognized for their dedication to this exceptional educational offering, which notably emphasizes learning through CityLabs.

This distinction undoubtedly shines a spotlight on UNIC beyond Irish borders. The University of Liège, which hosts part of the RePIC student cohort for one term of the Master's programme, can also take pride in its investment in an innovative and forward-looking form of education.
