From June 17 to 19, 2026, Koç University in Istanbul hosted the second thematic conference of the European UNIC Alliance, titled "Institutions in Transition: Justice, Security, and Well-Being in Post-Industrial Cities." 

On June 2, 2026, the University of Liège hosted the first Re-Imaginatorium organized by the European UNIC alliance. During a workshop, sixty participants envisioned the Liège of tomorrow through the lens of the One Health concept.

As part of the UNIC Staff Week event “Redesigning the Campus in the City,” ULiège brought together European universities to discuss the challenges of creating sustainable, inclusive campuses that are integrated into the city.

The members of the European alliance met in Bilbao for their annual conference, a key milestone falling midway through the second phase of UNIC.
